Working alongside our client, we were able to come up with a more functional kitchen layout that provided more natural light, and more space to cook, and prepare food while also ensuring we do not encroach into the dining and living spaces. To utilize the new natural light coming into the home we went with light fixtures, cabinets, paint and trim to fill the illusion of extra space. The rear yard was being underutilized so our client wanted to add a spa bar, and a BBQ island with a trellis above to allow for more reasonable use of the rear yard. All the new interior kitchen, dining and living room space was accompanied by more space outside for activities for them and their guests. Along with the updated kitchen and rear yard, we updated the home to match.
